Cookies: there are none

This site sets no cookies, technical or otherwise, and uses no analytics, advertising or profiling tools. There is nothing to accept or refuse, so there is no banner.

Everything the page loads — fonts, images, stylesheets — comes from our own server. No request goes out to anybody else’s domain, so nobody receives your IP address on our behalf.

There is no form to fill in: the only way to leave us any data is to write to us.

Who handles the data

The data controller is PROAF S.r.l.s., Via Genova 7, 52100 Arezzo (AR), Italy. For anything about privacy write to info@proaf.it or to proaf@pec.it.

We have not appointed a data protection officer: ProAF does not fall within the cases where Regulation (EU) 2016/679 requires one.

What the server records

Like every web server, the one hosting proaf.it notes the requests it receives: IP address, date and time, the address of the page, the outcome of the request and the browser used.

They keep the site running and protect it from abuse: the legal basis is our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use them to recognise visitors and we do not combine them with anything else.

They stay in the server log files, which rotate periodically; we keep no separate archive of them.

What you write to us

If you send us an email we process your address and whatever you tell us in order to reply and to handle any relationship that follows (art. 6(1)(b)).

We keep messages as long as the conversation and the resulting legal obligations require. We do not use them to send you advertising and we do not pass them on.

Who else sees them

Only the people who give us the tools: the server belongs to Contabo GmbH (Germany), the domain email to IONOS SE (Germany), the certified mailbox to its provider. They process the data on our behalf as processors under art. 28 of the Regulation.

We do not sell or hand over personal data, and we do not transfer it outside the European Economic Area.

Your rights

You can ask us to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@proaf.it: the two of us answer, not a department.

If you think we are getting it wrong you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, garanteprivacy.it.

We take no automated decisions about you and we do no profiling.

The site and its content

Text, mark, wordmark and images on proaf.it belong to ProAF. Any other trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.

The links to the founders’ personal sites lead away from proaf.it: those sites have their own rules and we are not answerable for what they contain.
